… an eleven-strong, mixed-voice, amateur choir based in Lancaster, England. We rehearse at Lancaster University, and have been doing so regularly since our founding by soprano-physicist, Rose Lerner, in late 2007.
Most of our repertoire is a-capella, in four to eight parts, and is chosen by members to be sung primarily for our own enjoyment. We (try to) sing madrigals, masses and motets, pre-modern music, post-modern music and anything in between.
Now and then, we have the pleasure of sharing our music with an audience at informal gatherings or for conferences, church services and concerts. If you would like to discuss the possibility of a booking, please come along to one of our upcoming events and have a chat with one of our singers, or contact us now.
